|
A knight of the nobility of Picardy, Jehan de Quesnes is the
third son of the viscount Robert de Poix. As he isn't the
first heir to the viscounty, Jehan de Quesnes chose the life
of the man-at-arms. A veteran of the Prussian crusade of
1389 and many other campaigns, he is a very old friend of
Gallois de Fougières. When the latter is named provost
marshal, Jehan decides to stand by him. He finally
accompanies him to the battle of Azincourt on the 25th of
october 1415, for his last battle against the English where
he is killed. |
