Lidia the cook

Originally from the kingdom of Poland, Lidia met Adhémar the Lion when he accompanied Gallois de Fougières to Prussia in 1389. She remained at his side ever since and, when Gallois became provost marshal, he hired her in his troop and put her as governess in charge of the kitchens. She advises the provost's varlet regarding the supplies of the provost guard and sees to the camp's stewardship.
